2011 - Present  Research and Educational Consultant, Grant-writer, Adjunct Professor & Professional Presenter - Provide short-term and on-going projectized services to educational and research organizations, as well as human service-oriented agencies and families on local, state, national, and international levels. Actively facilitate activities, such as support services for children and families, fund-raising for human preservation and environmental protection and awareness, and obtain social-, research-based-, and educational- contracts through intellectual, economic, social actions and resources. 

2003 - 2011 Chief Operating Officer & Professional Presenter  - Educational Solutions, Inc., MD - Created, provided, and assisted students with instructional resources, educational-, volunteer-, and post-secondary school opportunities; identified appropriate and compatible funding sources and wrote proposals for grants; navigated the legal process to obtain payments on outstanding accounts; created and administered enrichment activities that supplement current education provided in public and private schools; identified and utilized researched-based effective teaching and behavioral strategies that engaged, reinforced, and reviewed students to ensure success. Networked with other individuals and organizations within the community and abroad and completed administrative duties. Created and administered  professional development workshops for educators, human services professionals, parents, and children.

1998 - 2009 Chairperson and Science Teacher - Virginia and Maryland Public Schools - Planned meetings for the Science Department, collaborated with other departments to plan for interdisciplinary lessons and coordinated with other Chairpersons to reserve spaces, calendar dates, and resources. Prepared and administered lessons for approximately 150 students. Supervised students' learning and behavior. Maintained effective and frequent contact with parents and guardians. Lectured, ordered supplies, and monitored laboratory investigations in correlation with objectives. Arranged for guest speakers and field trips. Attended and actively participated in faculty and departmental meetings and staff/professional development conventions. Volunteered time before and after school in other areas in order to help ensure success of schools' goals.

1997 Human Anatomy and Physiology Adjunct Professor - Paul D. Camp Community College, Smithfield, VA - Managed a professional and personable instructional environment for returning adults and new students. Prepared lectures, field trips, laboratory investigations, academic assessments, and scheduled guest speakers.

1995-1997 Mentor and Laboratory Assistant - Hampton University, Hampton, VA - Served as a motivational leader to college students. Provided motivational information, advisement and activities to help students emotionally and academically. Assembled, cleaned, and stocked laboratory equipment and prepared laboratory specimens. Evaluated papers and instructed students.
